Mrs. Catherine Anne Cragg (nee McLean) died peacefully in hospital on August 31, 2017, at the age of 75.
Catherine is survived by her daughter, Sheryl MacDonald; her son, Brian Cragg; her son and daughter-in-law, Darrel and Angela Cragg; and her grandchildren, Douglas and Jason MacDonald, and Maria and Anna Cragg.
She is also survived by her brother, Robert McLean, and sister, Nadine Kirby.
Catherine was known for her wicked sense of humour, her love of shopping and her time as a secretary with the ‘gang’ at Greenglade Elementary School. She will be missed.
At her request, there will be no service.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped care for Catherine in the final months of her life.

Sharon Collier I was saddened to learn that Cathy has passed away. She was wonderful in her position as school secretary at both Sidney and Greenglade schools. From my years teaching at both schools I remember Cathy as a very happy lady with a ready smile and a hearty laugh. She raised fine boys who were delightful to work with … I was privileged to teach both Brian and Darrel and in later years, Maria and Anna. (I also had many enjoyable conversations with Angela and appreciated her support in the school.) Cathy deserved to be very proud of her lovely family. I’m thinking about all of you at this sad time and I know you will treasure the memories of your mom (and grandmother). I offer my sincere condolences.
