Kitty died peacefully on Friday, October 14th with her sister Betty McNeill, sister-in-law Jean Bell and niece Linda Lomas by her side.  Kitty was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and with her new husband Bruce moved to Victoria in 1959.

Kitty loved to travel!  She travelled all over with her RV group; travelled to Europe; and spent part of the year in Arizona.  She particularly loved her annual sister holidays!  She loved her garden and spent part of each day out there – in rain or shine. She was an avid golfer, loved to play cards and was both supportive of and involved with many local charities.  She lived a full life as a kind and caring person, had a cheeky sense of humour, and was loved by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her husband Bruce, her partner Frank Toth, her sisters Molly Taylor and Jean Clunk, and her brother Albert Cree.   She left behind her sister Betty McNeill, her sisters-in-law Jean Bell and Pauline Cree, her brother-in-law Ron Clunk, fourteen nieces and nephews and a whole bunch of grand nieces and nephews.  She will be sadly missed by all of us.

Thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on 5 North at the Jubilee Hospital for all their care.   Thanks especially to Dr. Maskey for her kindness and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Sequioa Centre, at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Friday, November 4th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation in Kitty’s name to your favorite charity would be welcome.
