Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits — who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. 1. Kim, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Chris.

He was a true professional in our industry, one who was always available to talk, share ideas and “just be there”- all with a great sense of humour.

He could always be counted on and really was one of the most cooperative agents I’ve ever known.

Thinking of you during this difficult time,

    Tony Joe

  2. Dear Kim, Lucy and family: We are deeply saddened by the loss of your beloved Chris. It was such a shock and it is still hard to believe. Chris was a wonderful man. He had a certain way about him, a kind of “knowing”. We will miss that infectious little laugh, the twinkle in his eye, and just about everything else that made Chris a very special man. We know how much he loved Kim and how his love poured over onto their little Lucy. Otter Point will never be the same. May God’s loving light shine over you Kim, and family and see you through these very difficult days. We will be in touch soon.
    Deepest sincere sympathy

  3. We extend our sincerest sympathies to Kim particularly, but also to the rest of Chris’ family. We knew Chris as we lived three houses away from him, and had dealings with him as a realtor. Chris’ personality was highlighted by the fact that on the street where we lived, he was one of the few people who was interested in putting money, time, and energy into improving the area, when a number of the other residents would do nothing. This was in the face of the fact that much of the energy Chris put into this was of benefit to, (if not greater benefit to) his neighbours than himself. As part of this it was obvious that he had made a point of getting to know and keep in touch with many of the neighbours, a trait not reciprocated unfortunately by some of these same neighbours. We know his advice on many things involved in living in Victoria was passed on to many including ourselves. He will be missed by many of us on Ravenwood Road.

  5. It was a heartbreaking moment when I saw the notice of Chris’s death. He was a kind, delightful human being – ethical in his business dealings and in the conduct of his life.
His love for Kim was evident and their working relationship was a caring one.
I met Chris quite some time ago through my son, Kevin, and have a deep respect for him.

Our condolences go out to Kim and his family.

    Mary Davie and son Kevin.

  6. Dear Kim and family

I am so sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and prayers will go out to you.
Though I haven’t seen Chris for 25 years, I will always remember what a great fellow he was. He always had a wide smile and some positive encouragement for everyone he knew.

    God Bless you all

  7. I am Kelly Dodge’s mother, and as some of you might remember, Chris and Kelly were very good friends many years ago. When we lost Kelly in an auto accident in 1985, Chris helped our family so much as we grieved the loss of Kelly. When Mike Gansner let us know about Chris in hospital, we were all praying for his recovery and were so saddened when Mike told us he passed away. Although we lost touch with Chris over the years, he will always remain in our hearts as a very kind and caring friend. Our prayers are with all of Chris’s family especially today and tomorrow.
