WILLIAMS, Daniel Stewart (aka Danny, Monkey, SuperBanker)
Born February 12th, 1973, in New Westminster, B.C., Dan was taken from us suddenly, but peacefully on November 24th, 2009 in Boyle, Alberta. Beloved son of Daryl & Barbara Williams (nee: McCall); dearest brother of Craig (Katalin) and adored Uncle to Benjamin & Mia. He also leaves behind his loving and devoted fiancée, and soulmate, Michelle Galenzoski, and her family, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless people Dan referred to as friends and cousins across North America.
Dan had many passions for which he will be remembered. After family, which was always first for Dan, fishing, golfing, and hunting were always on the top of his list. He would often be found trolling the waters off Sooke and Oak Bay searching for the elusive Tyee, spending time with his “second” family at Uplands Golf Course where he honed his handicap to a “3.9”, or spending endless hours hunting with his dear cousin Scott Adams, and great friends Cameron Naqvi and Neil Tickell, amongst others.
In his professional life, Dan was a very respected and successful member of the BMO Mortgage Specialist Team, a career that he enjoyed immensely. As a result of the friendships he shared, his absence weighs heavily on the team. He was an incredible colleague and friend, and will be missed deeply.
Dan was never happier than when he was spending time with his love Michelle and his dog Tucker, away on his boat “Banker’s Hours”.
Visitation will be held at McCall Bros. Floral Chapel, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, on Wednesday and Thursday, December 2nd & 3rd, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held to honour Dan and celebrate his life at St. Aidan’s United Church, 3703 St. Aidan’s Street on Friday, December 4th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Burial entrusted to Royal Oak Burial Park. Reception to follow at Uplands Golf Course from 1 to 4 p.m. If so desired, donations in Dan’s memory may be made to the Uplands Heart Fund, 3300 Cadboro Bay Road, Victoria, B.C. V8R 5K5.

I share your great sorrow but am grateful to have been a small part of the fine life that was Dan.
Dan will be deeply missed, he always had a great big smile and something good to say everytime I saw him. I know he is catching tyee’s and hunting big bucks right now and forever. Everyone here at Island Outfitters will miss Dan and please accept our condolences.
To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.
Dan has touched many hearts.
My sincere condolences to his family.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Williams, Craig, and Michelle
I can’t believe I am writing this about dear Dan. His life was so full yet to short for us all. I think of Dan as another big brother, alongside Cam, Scott and Rich. I will truly miss him, but what gives me peace right now is knowing he is catching up with lost loved ones and hunting, fishing and golfing 24/7.
Michelle, Craig, Scott, Mr. And Mrs. Williams and families, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I’ll miss you Dan. Love you!
Rose
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dan. I had the privilege of working with Dan during my time in Victoria and feel blessed to have known him. My sincere sympathy to all of his loved ones.
Dear Michelle, Tucker, Barb and Daryl, Craig and Kati, Dave and Debbie and all others.
I had the pleasure of knowing Dan both at work and at play. He was a very special guy both at the Bank and on the Boat & everywhere else. I will be thinking of him on every fishing trip as he game me the nickname “The Pink Hoochie Guy”
