Darlene passed away after a courageous battle with Polycystic Kidney Disease at the Royal Jubilee Hospital on the 26th of May 2011. She is survived by her partner, Duncan and her two children, Kristina and Nicolas. She is lovingly remembered by her mother, father, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Darlene’s life will be held at CFB Esquimalt C&PO’s Mess on Sunday, June 5th 2011, between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined; in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Vancouver Island Kidney Patients’ Association at Box 5145, Station B Victoria B.C.
