David will be sorely missed by his father, Don (Bette, Jake, Kent) and his mother, Shar (Ambian) and extended crazy mixed-up families. He was born in Victoria and educated at GNS and Claremont and pursued professional careers in Vancouver, Ottawa and Los Angeles.

“We hope that you have now found the peace that you were seeking.”

Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cool-Aid Society. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

I was devastated to hear about David’s death. I worked with David in Ottawa and we became fast friends. He was such a gentle soul. My only wish is that David would have known how much he was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to meet him. As soon as you met David he touched your heart. My only regret is that we lost touch. David know that I loved you and hope you are happy and at peace now

I know it’s been a long time Shar, and even longer, Don, but I was so saddened to hear of David’s passing. I still remember him as a young boy, giggling away at silly things … and remembering how much you loved your son. My thoughts are with you and everyone who’s lives he touched. He still looked like the younger David I remember in his photo, cute as a button. Hugs, Jackie (the other half of Cathie)

Although I did not know him as an adult – I remember what a sweet young boy he was. His angelic smile and curly blonde hair…. My heart goes out to all that will feel the void that his passing will undoubtledly cause.

  • Catherine and Mark

How quickly David became part of my family. He had a quiet way of finding his way into my heart and became one of “the boys”. Our family is forever changed. Love the photo you chose – that was a wonderful, happy day and the way I will remember him.
