Deirdre Adair Hitchcox passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC on April 1, 2026, at the age of 97, following a long journey with dementia.
A proud resident of James Bay, Deirdre was known for her warm spirit, radiant smile, and impeccable sense of style. Always well dressed and full of energy, she brought joy and laughter to those around her and deeply valued time spent with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Michael and Peter. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and all who knew her.
The family extends sincere thanks to the staff at AgeCare James Bay for their compassionate care.
