PERRY, Dennis Alfred George June 26, 1937 January 12, 2011 Den Perry was born in Victoria and grew up in the James Bay area. His parents were Alfred and Margaret (Earl). He is survived by his sons, Price, Ward, Sloane and daughter, Morgan and the many friends and family that are too numerous to list here. Den had a traveller`s spirit and a passion for knowledge. He will be remembered for his generosity, humour and grace. “Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings ” In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mustard Seed Church of Victoria. A gathering of family and friends will be held at McCalls Funeral Home, 1400 Vancouver Street, Victoria, B.C. Friday, January 21st, 2011 at 2pm. Most of you won’t know us but Lorraine will. Ann was a Sprinkling and her oldest brother (by 21 yrs) was Alf Perry’s (Den’s father) best friend. Also Lowell worked with Den at the T-C. Furthermore, Den and Lorraine lived with us on weekends in Colorado Springs in the 1960s. Naturally we have lots of memories of Den, most of them fun ones; you must have those fun memories, too, so think of them when sadness overcomes you.
