Doreen Louise Carroll passed away peacefully at home on May 13, 2011 in Victoria, BC. Doreen was born January 31, 1933 in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ethel Askew. She leaves her loving husband, Laurie; son, Scott (Chris) of Vancouver; daughter, Susanne (Shawn) Quast of Victoria; grandchildren, Nicole and Adam; brother, Bob Askew of Victoria and nieces and nephews. Doreen was a longtime league bowler at Mayfair Lanes. She also enjoyed travelling with Laurie and friends to Reno.
A private Graveside Service with reception at Sequoia Gardens Memorial was held. Flowers gratefully declined, however, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation, 2410 Lee Avenue, Victoria, BC, V8R 6V5 would be appreciated. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.
