September 25, 1916 – November 16, 2012
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our sister and aunt. Born in Olds, Alberta, and a long-time resident of Victoria. She is survived by her sisters Opal, Sally and Audrie, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends. She passed peacefully at Wellesly Care Home. Doris never lost her love of the violin and played in symphonies across Canada. She preferred to give rather than receive. Her love of pugs was known to all. She will be greatly missed.
A Graveside Service will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park on Tuesday, November 27th at 2:00 pm with Bishop Charles Dorington officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Gloria and Lloyd Ulry To All that love Doris:
She was an elegant woman who lived an amazing life. We will remember her playing the violin while Mom played the piano and Carmen played the flute.
Her interest in our well-being and that of our children was wonderful. She always ended our phone calls with an “I love you.” We will miss her.

To all of those who knew and loved Auntie Doris –
We were very saddened to hear of Doris’s passing.
She loved her pugs, and she shared her love of animals with our own dogs. She always was concerned about everyone, and was always a joy to talk to.
She was a genuinely beautiful person, and we are blessed to have known her. She will be so missed by us.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in this difficult time.
God bless you Doris.
