Dorothy died peacefully on November 10, 2015 in Victoria BC. She was born on January 5, 1926 in Victoria, BC. She was predeceased by her husband, William in 2000. Dorothy is survived by her four children, Dwight, Bob, Jim, Karen-Ann and their families. Bill and Dorothy were married on May 21, 1949 in Hamiota, Manitoba. They raised their 4 children in Rivers, Manitoba and moved to Victoria, BC in 1971. Dorothy worked at the TD Bank and then as a bookkeeper in a medical practice until she was 72 years old! She loved her work. Dorothy loved the outdoors and daily went for long walks with her beloved dog, Sophie.
A memorial service will be held in McCall’s Floral Chapel, Johnson at Vancouver Streets, on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow in the McCall’s Family Centre.
