  • Bob Wilson & Marg (Downie) Wilson

Heartfelt condolences to the Johnston family on the loss of Mother Dorothy. Our families have known each other for years while the Johnston’s lived in Carstairs – right across the street from the Downie family. Our Mother’s worked together in various ladies organizations in Carstairs, and the Johnston children went to school with both the Downie and Wilson children. The loss of a Mother is extremely difficult and our hearts and prayers are with you all. Joy, Bob and I will be coming out to Victoria the middle of this month and would certainly enjoy the opportunity to get together with you. Maybe you can get our email address from McCalls and drop us a note. Once again, sincere condolences to each of you.

  • Wendy (Edmondson) Woodworth, Arcadia, NS

My sincere sympathy to all of Dorothy’s family. I knew her well as a dear friend of my parents, John and Edna Edmondson of Carstairs. We spent a lot of time with her and Stewart and the children. They were warm and loving people. Thinking of you all at this sad time.
