Dear Cheyne Family, Thinking of you during this difficult time. Dorothy was a volunteer dynamo in the community of Kitimat including many years volunteering for the Aluminum City Telethon. Before Max and Dorothy moved away, Dorothy brought all the Telethon scrapbooks she had compiled for each year to the Kitimat Museum & Archives. She was always supportive and a booster of Kitimat, here and abroad when she and Max would travel for the Senior Games to represent Kitimat.
Condolences to Dorothy’s family during this difficult time. Dorothy was a dedicated community member and volunteer, who will be remembered by the many people that knew her. She leaves a legacy that will always be remembered.

My condolences to Dorothy’s Family. Your Mother was as you know a wonderful Lady as I spent lots of time getting to know her over the years between the hospital, and extended care ward where she also volunteered her time and other areas of Kitimat. She will be dearly missed and was a joy to know God Bless you all.

Dear Max and Family,
So very sad to hear of Dorothy’s passing. She will always be remembered (by me) for her work with the Telethon, but I know she was busy with so many things that made life in Kitimat more enjoyable for so many. Take care.
Love Judy Hunter and family(Max, remember our bridge games)
Dear Max, Barb, Roy and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Dorothy’s passing. What an organized and energetic woman she was! Because of this, she created and encouraged so many groups within Kitimat. I first met her through tennis, so many years ago! Dorothy was a force to be reckoned with, and because of her ability to keep so many groups going around Kitimat, she brought so much joy to so many people as we enjoyed the fruits of her labours. Thinking of you all, and hoping you have enjoyed coastal life these past two years, Max!
