Pat (Sinclair) Hall Dear Doug, It has been so long since I have seen or heard of you and I am sorry it is with your death. You were one of the neat people in my life in my teens and twenties. It is interesting what you remember about people as life goes on. One of the kindness I remember about you was when my sister died at 35 that you sent a card to me. Might not seem like much but meant the world to me. Rest in Peace Doug.

Bob Darnell Take care Dougie, where ever you are. You and I go back to 1947/48 in a Boxing tournament at Prince Robert House (lower Douglas St.) I think it was round 2 when you convinced my nose that I was not meant to be a Boxer. Lots of good memories at Thetis Lake too.

Mike Wilson I was fortunate as a young man to get to work with Dougie at Center Shipyard…he took the time to teach me a few things in the trade..and away from work he was indeed a character..although our paths went in separate ways, I will always cherish my memories of working with him. Miss you Doug.
