Feb 26, 1988 ~ June 14, 2011

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Precious Dusty. He is survived by Beth (Mom), Jamie & Josh (Brothers) & Dan (Friend); as well as many other friends and family.

Your memory is our keepsake ~ from which we’ll never part
God has you in His keeping ~ We have you in our hearts
No farewell words were spoken ~ No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it ~ Only God knows why
There are no words to describe our pain ~ our sorrow deep within
Wanting nothing more ~ than to wrap our loving arms around you
And to hear you laugh & see your smile once again.

A Celebration of Life for Dusty will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 19th, at Sauce Bar & Restaurant. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
at McCall Bros Family Chapel (Vancouver and Johnson Streets). A Private Burial will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

Every moment of every day you’ll be in our thoughts
We love you ~ We miss you
Forever & Always in our hearts
Our precious Dustin

I am so sorry that I only found out about this now and have missed the Celebration of Life as well as the viewing. That photo up there is not how I remember Dustin; how he has changed in the last few years. I’ll treasure the memories of forest exploring, secret sharing, and support that we once offered to each other. That shy smile will be ingrained into my memories. Find peace Dustin.

I remember Dusty as the guy who always had a big smile on his face no matter what the day brought him. He always stopped to say hi, even if he was in a hurry to get to work. He was kind soul who was taken far to young.
You will be forever remembered and missed greatly. My prayers and thoughts go out to Beth, Jamie and Josh and all the people who knew Dusty.
May you Rest in Peace my friend. <3

I only met Dustin once and it was at Jamie’s 19th Birthday. I have however known Dustin through my son Joshua who has always considered the Smith Brothers to be his brothers. There has never been a better family for cheering you up or accepting your quirky behaviours. The joy Joshua use to show when going to visit the Bro’s is indescribable.

Jamie you did a great job of raising and holding your family together. You are always there for them. And yet you still took the time to reach out to others. I really admire that.

I am so sorry for your loss of Dustin. I feel your pain. Hold on to each other dearly and let others help you heal. Wish I was there to help.

    Regards,
    Kathie Adam
