Wayne and I, along with our sons , Landon and Cory would like to extend our sincerest condolences on the passing of your father, Ed. He will always be remembered for his huge smile and joyful laugh and his passion for good times.Ed, loved the farm and I will pass on a picture of him, riding the combine with his cousin, Wayne on one of his last visits to Willingdon. He enjoyed that immensely and was awed by the size of equipment now used to get the harvest in. May he rest in peace , forever remembered and not forgotten….with love.. The Koles family

    Bernie & Kolleen,
When I think of your Dad and my Unclde Ed, it brings a smile to my face as I remember his laugh and his gregarious nature. He liked to challenge ideas and when I was a teenager I remember lots of discussions in my Mom’s kitchen in Edmonton with him. He always had the time of day especially when we were kids on the farm.
My heart goes out to you both.
    Love Arley & David

Dear Bernie and Kolleen I am so sorry too hear about the passing of your dad.His intelligent thoughts on just about everything were a great inspiration on me as I grew up.He was the radical of the family whether good or bad and I loved him for it.The last time I saw him in the hospital,I was warned that he would probably not remember me,but was happy to see him welcome me with his happy trademark 6 inch smile. He had many stories of us to tell and it made me feel very special. That was one of his greatist gifts to me and I will miss him greatly! Love and condolences… Bruce

    Dear Bernie and Kolleen,
Your Dad was such a free spirit in life and you two have been cherished in having that spice for life as well. Take solace in knowing that peace has come and only the good memories will be remembered. Ed had a fondness for the writings of Hunter S Thompson and in early years we would have great discussions on these writings. He was the “cool” Uncle.
Our love and condolence to the both of you.
