I knew and taught with Ed at Camosun from about 1977? to 1984. Those were formative years for the College and Ed’s office and location varied from near to far around the Campus but he always had time to chat, chuckle and enjoy the time, place and people around him. Our time together was short but very good and professional. Later, after retirement, we exchanged at the irregular meetings of the Sci & Tech luncheons where retired staff gathered and I was fortunate enough to be invited back. Great times and memories–Ed was really positive and was a great contribution to the program and students.
I will miss him at the gatherings!!!
Martin Dunsmuir also had some good laughs with Ed and we remember him well –especially some of his limericks, which are left from this parting discourse. Wanda & Family–you couldn’t improve on your life very much–Ed was one of the better people I ever met!! Goodbye Ed!
