STEWART – Eileen Grace (nee Bedington), in her 88th year passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital on August 13, 2013 after a brief illness.  Eileen is predeceased by her husband Neil in 2004; her son John in 2001; and her brothers John (Vera) and Rae (Ellen).  Eileen is fondly remembered by her sons, Dave, Garth (Kate), and Alan; by her four grandchildren, Darryl, Samantha, Laura and Talia; her close friends and extended family in Canada and the UK.

The family expresses its deep appreciation to the staff at Parkwood Court and to the nursing staff at Royal Jubilee Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at First Metropolitan United Church, Quadra at Balmoral Streets on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at 2:00 pm, a reception to follow. Dave, Garth and Alan: Brian & Donna knew your mother through many activities; the Church, Guiding and socially. I particularly remember your mother’s efforts in arranging for a significant attendance of Guides at the funeral of my mother about 10 years ago. She was a true friend.

We relocated to Kelowna 8 years ago to be nearer to our children and grandchildren, in Kelowna, Canmore and Calgary.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Please know that she will be missed.

    Brian & Donna Hobbs
