July 30, 1930 – April 2, 2008

Surrounded by the love of her family and friends, Jean left this earth peacefully after an arduous and furiously fought battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Mom would have wanted to go out with a song, and this one’s for her:

Though April showers may come your way

They bring the flowers that bloom in May

So if it’s raining, have no regrets

Because it isn’t raining rain you know, it’s raining violets.

And when you see clouds upon the hills

You soon will see crowds of daffodils

So keep on looking for a bluebird and

Listening to his songs

Whenever April showers come along.
