The family of Elisabeth Stern is saddened to announce her death in her 92nd year on April 6, 2012. A long-time resident of Saanich, she leaves 3 children: son, Heinz “Henry” in Penticton, BC; daughter, Hanni Eason in Victoria, BC; and son, Ludwig “Luke” in Prince Edward Island. Predeceased by husband Heinrich, she also leaves to mourn other relatives including grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends in Greater Victoria, Newfoundland, Germany and the United States.
Interment will take place at Royal Oak Burial Park, 4673 Falaise Drive, on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM. A celebration of Elisabeth’s life will be held following the burial at 1248 Judge Place. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

I was so sad to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a wonderful woman and I always had a soft spot for her. It was always a treat to see her as she gave great hugs and was always genuinely happy to see you. I know she will be greatly missed but the memories of the life you shared with her will last forever. I am sorry I cannot be there with you today to share in her farewell service but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. My blessings to you all.
