The family of Elisabeth Stern is saddened to announce her death in her 92nd year on April 6, 2012. A long-time resident of Saanich, she leaves 3 children: son, Heinz “Henry” in Penticton, BC; daughter, Hanni Eason in Victoria, BC; and son, Ludwig “Luke” in Prince Edward Island. Predeceased by husband Heinrich, she also leaves to mourn other relatives including grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends in Greater Victoria, Newfoundland, Germany and the United States.

Interment will take place at Royal Oak Burial Park, 4673 Falaise Drive, on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM. A celebration of Elisabeth’s life will be held following the burial at 1248 Judge Place. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

    I was so sad to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a wonderful woman and I always had a soft spot for her. It was always a treat to see her as she gave great hugs and was always genuinely happy to see you.
