With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of “Betty”, who was born and raised on a farm in Bulyea, Saskatchewan. She moved to her beloved Victoria at age 15, where she lived most of her life. Betty is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Dolhanty. Survived by her daughter, Linda (Gary) and her son, Darrell (Jamie) and her three grandchildren, Darren, Heather and Mark. Betty will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate to have known her for the caring and giving person that she was.
Visitation and Prayers will be held at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson at Vancouver Streets on Monday, Dec. 21st at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 851 Old Esquimalt Road at 12:10, Tuesday, Dec 22nd with interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.

We were so sorry to hear of Bettys passing. I remember Betty best when I was a little girl in Victoria and our visits with her and Tom as they travelled across Canada. She was my dads youngest sister and was always thought of as the baby of the Gow family.
