Passed away peacefully at Jubilee Hospital. Thanks to staff for their care of Bess. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Vic. Survived by her brother, George (Joan), stepdaughter, Jan (Roy), their respective children and grandchildren. Memorial service Friday, October 12 at 2 p.m. at Marrion Village, 1968 Bee Street. Carol McCartney My sympathies on the passing of your sister, George and Joan. By chance i met her at the Mall outside the washroom a couple of years ago. I made a comment about her accent and as we talked I discovered she was your sis ! Very pleasant and friendly. I left with a smile on my face.
Hope you are both well. i’m in a scooter due to my MS which has progressed over the years but still getting about.

We are sorry to learn of Bess’s passing. We have good memories of Bess and Vic since the 1970s, socially and through folkdancing. She was a kind, good-natured person.
