Passed away peacefully in Victoria General Hospital on Friday, July 20, 2012. Born in Vernon, B.C. on June 29, 1928. Beloved wife of the late Germain; loved sister of Bea Hotchin; late brother, Frederick and late sister, Virginia; dear mother of Suzanne (Dale), John (Debbie), Roger (Iris), Julie (Wade) and Lisa (Dwayne); cherished Nana of Christopher, Jennifer, John Ryan, Meaghan, Michael, Kathleen, Spencer, Taylor, Kristina, Jacqueline, Jeremy and many nieces and nephews. Beth enjoyed her many years as parish secretary at St. Joseph’s, St. Andrew’s Cathedral and Our Lady Queen of Peace Parishes. Heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care provided by the staff on 6B South, VGH, Doctors, Andrew Penn, D. Scott and longtime family Doctor, Brian Pound.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, C Parish, 849 Old Esquimalt Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. (www.heartandstroke.bc.ca). Condolences may be offered below.
