It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother and loving Wife, at home surrounded by loved ones. Elsie was born in Mount Nebo, Saskatchewan and spent the majority of her younger years in Thunder Bay, Ontario where she raised her family.
She was predeceased by her youngest son Don in January 1998, her father Wallace Kadolph, her mother Lydia and her brother Earl Kadolph.
She leaves to celebrate her memory, husband Steve, son Dave (Shannon), daughter-in-law Jacquie Elvish, along with grand children Daniel, Adam, Graham and Laurel.
Elsie also leaves behind her sisters Lorena Harri (Harold) and Betty Anne Ritchie (Norman), brothers Roy (Svea) and Gordon Kadolph and many nieces and nephews and their families.
She will also be missed by her friends at Knox Presbyterian Church in Sooke, B.C. and relatives and friends in Atikokan, and Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The family wishes to express their deep gratitude for the care and compassion shown to Elsie by Dr. Ellen Anderson, the staff at the B.C. Cancer Centre and the home care nurses.
A Memorial service will take place at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2110 Church Rd. Sooke, B.C. on
