Born August 7, 1924 in Bon Accord, Alberta, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2010. Predeceased by her loving husband, Gilbert in 1986; her parents, Worthy and Marjorie Putnam; brothers, Gordon and Bert; sisters, Grace, Ella and Enid. She is survived by her sister, Valerie. Also left to mourn her passing are, daughter, Joan (John); sons, Mark (Jeanette), Barry (Doreen); grandchildren, Julie, Cherie (Kevin), John, Michael and Christopher (Kirsten); and great-grandchildren, Marissa and Spencer. Special thanks to the staff at Glengarry Hospital for making her final days comfortable.
A Memorial Service will be held in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow in McCall’s Family Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in Amy’s memory would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #107 – 1001 Cloverdale Avenue, Victoria, BC V8X 4C9.
