Passed away suddenly at home in Victoria BC on October 6, 2011 at the age of 90. Born in Saanich on January 7, 1921, he was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Robin Scott (Telford) and wife, Sheila Scott (Cunningham) of 13 years. He is lovingly remembered by his sons, Brent and Gerry Scott, their wives, Elizabeth and Brenda respectively; daughter, Gwen McKay and husband, Cam; grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, Brendan and Angela Scott; stepsons, Dan Telford, his wife, Andrea and their children, Devon, Patrick Allison, Christine and Ken Telford, his wife, Adrian and their children, Lisa and Amanda and great-granddaughter, Lily. Eric farmed in Sangudo, Northern Alberta with his brother, Donald until moving to an acreage in Armstrong, BC and finally retiring in Mill Bay on Vancouver Island. His passion for guns and hunting was ever present and deftly displayed when at 85 years young, he shot a rat off his Mill Bay deck at 50 paces. Eric was a quiet, very honourable man and will be missed but, long remembered. Special thanks to all the staff at Somerset House.

Flowers/donations gratefully declined. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

    To the Family of Eric,
It is with sadness that we read of Eric’s passing.
We knew Eric and Don when they lived and farmed in the Alberta community where we once lived and grew up. Also, remember when Sheila joined the family. They were good neighbors and well respected and liked in the community. We later for fortunate to have a visit with Don in Kelowna when Armstrong was then their residence. It is good to know that the Scott legacy lives on in Eric’s children.
Our condolences to all. May God Bless you and comfort you in your sad bereavement and give you strength to carry on.
    Old Friends,
John and Elaine (nee Wanek) Ewashko
    Kelowna, B.C.
