    Dear Aunt Amy,

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of Ernest. I recall seeing him fairly often before my father passed away – they were good friends. He had an excellent sense of humour, I remember, and my father always admired him. Since my father’s passing, I realize we lost touch, but our fond feelings and memories of him have remained.

God bless you and give you strength in the passing days.

We are very sad to see today that dear Uncle Ernie passed away. Mom always said he was a wonderful brother and now they’ll be together again. Through the years we came to know him as a kind and thoughtful gentleman whose notes and cards we always enjoyed.

    Our sincere sympathy, Amy.

Amy – What a loss for us who are left behind. Ernie was an amazingly gentle soul and I was so fortunate to call him a friend. It is comforting to know we have an angel in heaven watching out for us.

I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

    Love Gail
