Dear George, Diane, Carole, Kay and all

Just wanted to let you know that I will always have warm fond memories of the visits we had with Esther & John. It was always our highlight on Boxing Day. I had only met Robin once but I’m sure he and Ester had a full life together with so much in common. Esther was a wonderful, kind person and I feel fortunate knowing her.

Dear Robin, Kay, Carole, Diane and all –
We had the pleasure of spending some great times with Es over the years – and enjoyed our visits so very, very much. What a precious lady Es was! She will never be forgotten by anyone who had the opportunity to spend time with her – God Bless you, Esther! God Bless your entire family – especially Robin, Kaye, Carole (and Johnny), Diane and George, and Nicole, Tammy and Michelle. Love you!

Auntie Esther, we truly miss you. Such a big part of our childhood. I remeber the candy drawer like it was yesterday and the chocolate boxes that stored sewing supplies. I also recall the ‘ban leg hold traps’ on the bumper of her Studabaker. She took a stand for what she believed in, animals in need, and stood behind her convictions. She was fiesty in the best sense of the word.
Aunty Esther was a brilliant writer, and her interests were horses, she loved the horses at our rescue especially the big feral herd in need. She loved all animals, especially cats, and lets just say her cats were very healthy and spoiled.
So many things to say about how much Aunty Esther is valued in outr family. She always played a pivitol role with all generations. She left her mark on the earth and in all our hearts, we will miss her.

I never had the pleasure of knowing Esther, but I have been told many stories by Barry and his daughters, Nicole, Tammy and Michelle. I know she is going to be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Our thoughts are with you all during this very difficult time.

Esther was a good friend of mine during the major part of her life.

She loved our children and would try to outdo everyone for gifts at Christmas She and John wouild drive hundreds of miles (and sometimes fly thousands) to visit our family.

When she worked at Eatons Bookstore and met famous authors she would always have them autograph their book naming me personally and I wouldl get this as a present at Christmas. They still rest in prominent display in my liabrary.

    “S” will be missed.
