Passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital on September 5, 2010. She was born on June 4, 1918. Esther is survived and lovingly remembered by her son, Norman Younie and her daughter, Lysbeth Morency. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

May i offer belated condolences to you, Norman and Lysbeth.
Our mothers used to correspond, though I cannot remember where they first met, In the Air Force? At Nursing School? Before that, in high school? My mother Jean Colgate, née Martyn, originally of the St Thomas, Ontario area, is still living, though in long-term care with advanced dementia. She no longer remembers her children nor her late husband of 63 years.
