Eugenio passed away peacefully at 9:00 am on Monday, August 20, 2018 in the Saanich Peninsula Hospital at the age of 93 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Adele (nee Qualizza); daughter Yole (Jim); sons, Andy (Sue) and Renato (Loretta); grandchildren, Jenna (Jon), Heather, Nicole (Neil) and Brandon; and two great-granddaughters, Ella and Olivia.
The family wish to acknowledge special thanks to the staff at the SPH, ECU 2.
A Funeral Service and Reception will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC, on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Fr. Alfredo Monacelli officiating. Burial will follow the Service at Royal Oak Burial Park.

Steve Dugaro Our deepest condolences to the family during this time of sorrow, peace and reflection. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to share his company when we visited last, and regret that we are a world apart right now and unable to be there with all of you.
To me, Zio Genio was the most pragmatic of the brothers with whom he will now reunite in spirit. I fondly remember 2 fishing trips as a boy. One with my Dad where I used my Moms pizza as lure and hooked myself. The other with Zio, where he showed me his good lures which I hooked into rocks and lost. I thought he would be upset, but we kept trying. Even though I did not catch my first fish until decades later, I learned a thing or two about patience and challenge.
