Evelyn passed away in Sidney, BC on December 13, 2015. She was born on January 7, 1914 in Victoria, BC. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Jack and her son, John. She is survived by her daughter, Pat and family and grandson, John and family.
Evelyn enjoyed her family and gardening.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Resthaven Lodge for their excellent care for the last fourteen years.

I remember the day your dear Mom moved into Resthaven. I have many fond memories over the ten years I knew her. Her last four years I was retired.
Dressing up in her proper clothes was sometimes a challenge but we always tried to accommodate her! You were such a dutiful,loving daughter and I also remember your dear brother John .
May the love you shared with her continue in your heart. I lost my own Mom 5 years ago and sure miss her every day.

It is with sadness that we learned that Evelyn, has joined our Lord. I first met
Evelyn, approximately 74 years ago when she was a friend of my mother living in Esquimalt. Evelyn, entered our (Margaret & Bill) lives again in 2001. When ever we visited Evelyn, she always had a warm smile. Evelyn will be missed dearly.
