My name is kelsey, and I was lucky enough to get to know Evelyn as my patient when she was on 6C, VGH a few years ago. Nurses are not supposed to have ‘favorites’, but Evelyn was definately mine! She was such a sweet, caring person, and I loved getting to know such an amazing women. Even after she went home from the hospital, we kept in touch through letters and visits. I loved hearing her stories of working for Emily Carr, and knowing the Earnhardts! What an amazing life. I am so sad to see she had passed, and offer my sympathies to her family. She spoke of you often and loved ‘her boys’!
