Florence passed away November 14, 2010, 10 days before her 96th birthday!
Florence was born in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Her husband Chris predeceased her in 1998. Florence will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by daughter Connie (Peter), sons Don (Lorraine) and Harold (Vivian), seven grandchildren- Kelly, Dean, Kristine, Kevin, Eric, Kristian and Michael and ten great grandchildren.
Florence spent many happy years teaching in Alberta before retiring to BC in 1971. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her, positive, patient and kind nature.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff at the Kiwanis Pavilion where Florence spent her latter years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at McCall’s Funeral Home at 1:00PM on Wednesday, November 24th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kiwanis Foundation, 3034 Cedar Hill Road, Victoria, BC V8T 3J3. Condolences may be offered at www.mccallbros.com

So sorry to hear of Florence’s passing. She is one of the last of the dear old gang of my parents Tony & Kay Komarniski. I am the last of my family and it is sad to hear that another dear lady has left us.. She is fondly remembered at the many gatherings that were held with our families so many years ago.
