Florence slipped away peacefully in the wee hours of the morning at the James Bay Care Centre.
Predeceased by her husband, James; parents, Ernest and Florence West; brother, Gordon and two sisters-in-law, Lorraine and Valerie West.
Survived by her brothers and sisters, Ernie (Janet), Russell, Donald (Lucienne), Connie (Barry), Bob (Marie), Ken (Elizabeth), Larry (Sandy), Dorothy (Victor), Herbert, Clifford (Nola), Douglas (Randi); many nieces, nephews and cousins and a large extended family from the Westview Gospel Chapel who offered much kindness and many visits.
A special Thank You to James Bay Care Center for the dedicated and loving staff who cared for Florence over the last 2 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 18, 2018 in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coastal Missions, PO Box 77, Chemainus, BC V0R 1K2.
