Foony was born in a greenhouse in Colwood on April 22, 1938. Foony died at home with his wife of 58 years Pat, son Terry and his wife Diana at his side. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Steven (Hailey and great granddaughter Maddie), Nicholas (Paige) and Terra. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, and survived by one sister, one brother and many nieces and nephews.

Foony spent his life after high school in the wholesale meat business and was the owner of Island Meat Packers. He retired in 2004 and spent his time travelling the world and tending to his garden where he was known to have a picture-perfect green lawn.

He and his ever-present smile will be missed by all who knew him.

Many thanks to Dr. Govender for his great care and to Dr. Antonsen and the Peritoneal Dialysis Clinic who made his last few years so enjoyable.

No service by request. Donations can be sent to the Kidney Foundation.
