October 24, 1931 – March 19, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, sister, aunt, Granny and friend. Fran was born in Camrose, Alberta. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jim (1997) as well as several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children; sons, Dennis (Diane), Brian (Tede) and daughter, Gayle; grandchildren, Denise, Leanne and Trevor and great-granddaughter, Riley. Fran enjoyed many things such as swimming, singing and dancing with the Celtic Club, going to plays and live concerts as well as travelling. Most of all she loved to have her family and friends visit so she could cook or bake and spend time with them. She will be greatly missed by all of her extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 with interment to follow at ROYAL OAK BURIAL PARK. A reception will follow interment at SEQUOIA GARDENS MEMORIAL, 4665 Falaise Drive. A special thanks to the nurses and volunteers at SPH Palliative Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
