Born on October 7, 1933. Lyle passed away peacefully on July 31, 2013 from complications following surgery. He will be deeply missed by Joyce, his loving wife of 57 years; daughter, Leslie (Ken Pedlow); grandchildren, Lindsay (Derek), Daniel and Michael Pedlow; son, Bernie (Barb Lanz) and grandchildren, Curtis (Crystal), Tyson (Merissa); great-grandson, Jayk and great-granddaughter, Brooklynn. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of VGH who helped and supported our Dad throughout his time with them. A special thank you to Rev. Rob Szo and friend and neighbour Rev. Nora Fisher who were there when they were needed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 1973 Cultra Avenue at East Saanich Road in Saanichton. The Rev. Rob Szo and the Rev. Nora Fisher, presiding. Reception will follow in the Church Hall. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lyle’s name to The Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
