Passed away suddenly and peacefully at home in Victoria, having lived a full life. In fact, he was hours from traveling on the next adventure to some of his favourite haunts in the UK and Europe (especially Paris). He is predeceased by his father Joe, mother Betty, brother Edward and his dog Sinchia. Survived by his devoted and loving wife Jane, daughter Vanessa (Will), daughter Jennifer (Jason), son Justin (Leila) and his grandchildren, Jayde, Kurtis and Sinclair, who he adored with all his heart. He will be sadly missed by his brother Richard (Jill) and many extended family in Victoria and the UK; in addition to his friends who are as fun loving as himself.
Frank was full of life, he had a positive impact on so many, he was cheeky, mischievous and loved having people in his home. He spent his career as a CPA, CGA and ran his accounting firm for many years, loving the community he built around him and his many clients, however he was always happy when April 30th rolled by and he could get away on his overseas adventures. You are no longer here Dad, but we hope
you are smiling the biggest smile, free to explore the world even further on your bike with an ice cream, a bagel or a pastry in your hand! We will remember your Frank’ism’s forever and will miss you oh so very much! We hope you can now “Take it Easy!”

We are shocked to hear this sad news.
As old neighbours of Frank and Jane and family, we remember them all with fondness. We often recall Frank riding his bike through the neighbourhood with his children in tow. Our children attended school with theirs through elementary and high school days and have remained in contact through the years.
We send our sincere condolences to Jane and family at their tragic loss.
As the other grandfather, and fellow Gemini, we hit it off and became good friends from the minute our kids met. Solange and I send our deepest condolences to Jane and entire family. We will remember Frank for his kindness, thoughtfulness and his willingness to help in any situation…We will miss the twinkle in his eye and hearing about all his adventures in Europe, Israel, and his many trips to Paris for a pastry. May you bike in peace old friend, We will miss you dearly.
Frank was the type of person that radiates warmth and makes everyone feel at ease. You instantly remember that about him. I didn’t spend much time with him but I remember him being so happy playing with our late family dog Nina when he visited us in NZ. That memory makes me happy. Sending all my love to the family xx
Oh my goodness, the description of Frank’s playfulness is just so vivid and true. It’s very hard to imagine someone so full of life actually passing away. I feel very lucky to have known Frank and have wonderful memories of our talks and fun stories. Wishing you so much love and care, Jane and Vanessa, as you learn to live with this loss. from Tracy and Michael
I’m so sorry for your loss and sad I never got to meet Frank as an adult, all the extended Rochford family always speak so fondly of him and what a fine man he was, sending much love and hugs from SA
Jane and family, we are shocked and saddened to learn of Frank’s sudden passing. He was our friend and accountant for more than 40 years! Always so helpful and always a smile, a pleasure to know him.
Please know we are thinking of you, wishing you all comfort and peace on your loss.
We met Frank 5 years ago and have only known him as a very active “retired” senior. We found him to be always smiling and upbeat and ready for a DIY challenge. Our experience has been that Frank does not and did not shy away from carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping, and fixing what he could. He knew when to get outside help when he couldn’t. Truly a man of his generation, they don’t make them like that anymore.
I cannot put into words how shocked I was to hear of Frank’s passing. I’ll miss his twinkly eyes and ready smile. Him having a nap at Rochfest while everyone else was running around and making a noise will always bring a smile! My deepest condolences to all!
Frank always supported our students and families at Craigflower Elementary School with food distribution with dedication (Saanich Rotary). He greeted each person with a smile and a respectful chuckle. One of a kind! Our deepest condolences to your family and friends from the staff, students and families of Craigflower Elementary.
My condolences to the family. Frank was such a lovely gentleman with a very kind and generous spirit. He always had great professional advice to give and was our long time family Accountant. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family.
