1942 – 2015
On October 25, 2015, Frank passed into the waiting arms of our Lord and His Blessed Mother.
Frank was born in St. Louis, Missouri, served in the U.S. Airforce, worked for Pan Am in Honolulu and was an Agent for London Life in Victoria.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Margaret and his beloved in-laws, John and Sophie Blaszczyk.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Lili and their beloved son, Lance.
Frank was a larger-than-life character. As the family would say, the party didn’t start until Uncle Frank arrived. You could always depend on him to make you laugh and if you needed help, he was right there. He loved his in-laws, Chris and Bill, Johnny and Joanna, his favourite niece, Monique and nephew, Michael. He is also missed by his beloved pets, Scamper and Tigger.
A small family memorial Mass was held on November 3rd at the UVic Interfaith Chapel.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Rey Carr Dear Lili:
I’m so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. It’s been many years since we met, and it was always delightful to hear you speak of him with such love. I didn’t know that he worked for PanAm in Hawaii. My brother also worked for PanAm in Hawaii, and I wonder if they knew each other. All the best to you and your family.

Chris Colwell Dear Lili,
It was with great sadness that I read your husband’s obit. No matter what age or condition, losing a partner is a huge loss. I am so very sorry. Wish I had a magic wand and could “make it all better” but that is not the case.
Curiously, I just came across a newspaper clipping of me, you and your sister dancing Polish dances in our folk dresses for a fund raiser during the time that the Hungarian immigrants arrived.
I know you have a very supportive family but should you want to connect, please do so.
Warmest hugs, Chris.
-
