Our sincere sypathy to Inge and their family.
We have fond memories of the good times we had with Andy so long ago at the cabin on Mt. Brenton. We all shared many laughs and enjoyed Andy’ s ability to take part in all the fun and games (especialy the way he always ended up having to do the dishes by drawing the Joker).
    Rest in peace, Andy.

    Dear Family in canada,

i`m very sad to hear that bad news from far away. I will alway remember andy as a wonderful uncle with whome we could laugh a lot when he was here in austria to see his family , he was a very good dad and husband. we always have a good talk about canada and the people there. My thoughts are with his whole family there. I`m sad that I wasn`t able to see him in his homeland. Now I know it is better to do things as soon as possible ,then think we have enough time to do important things later.
Sandra,Jürgen, Belinda, Niklas, Hanna, Lilo and Dieter from Austria

I am saddened by the news of Andy’s passing, and I offer my most sincere condolences to Inge, Susan, and their entire family. I have known Andy for several years as one of the regulars of the Oak Bay Pool. Andy’s engaging personality and conversation will be missed around the hot tub by all of the regulars who knew him.
We all have many fond memories of Andy; which I hope are somewhat comforting to the family in their time of grief.

    Andy Dery’s family

My thoughts are with you at this time.

I worked with Andy at BC Parks for several years. He was a gentle soul, always willing to help others, never one to take himself too seriously. I remember Andy’s calm presence and easy laugh.

Andy understood the meaning of Christian charity and service.
