Passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. He went to Heaven at the age of 70 years. Born in Los Angeles, CA on November 10, 1941. Survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Anna Gavigan; devoted son Gareld; family and friends. The eldest of 3 siblings, his brothers Neil and David, and sister Suzanne.
Prayers will be held at McCall Bros. Floral Chapel, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, on Tuesday April 3, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. A Celebration of Gary’s life will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 2060 Haultain Street, on Wednesday April 4, 2012 at 12:10 p.m.with The Reverend Father Bill MacDonald officiating. Cremation to follow at Royal Oak Crematorium. Condolences may be sent to the family below.

Neil…I called you a few years back, wondering where Gary was living, sorry to hear of his death. I had fond memories of the 1961 meeting of Gary at KU, and in the 70’s in film industries. God Bless Gary…Pat
