George passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 10, 2016 at the Heights at Mt. View. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Mary; sister, Anne and daughter-in-law, Colleen and his beloved wife, Evelyn on December 22, 2015. George and Evelyn were happily married for 69 years. George is survived by his sons, George, David, Bruce and Doug (Phil). He will also be remembered by his grandchildren, Patti (Garrit) de Vos, Rob (Natacha), Nathan, Owen, great-grandchildren, Zachary and Kaiden and dear family friends, Brian and Ruth Dyck.
A private, family only, Graveside and Memorial Services will take place shortly.

Linda Ross I worked with your father at B.C. Land on Government Street. I was only 18 and your Dad was a great friend. He talked often about his family and he always had something nice to say about everyone and always a smile. So sorry to hear of his passing. My name was Linda Poulton then.
My sincerest condolences for your loss. George was my grandmother’s first cousin and I was very lucky to meet him and his lovely wife Evelyn back in 2012.
