On January 19 we said goodbye to our Geo. George was a talented soccer player and passionate golfer; an avid card shark and connoisseur of scotch; and a long-standing BC public servant – 35 years! But more prominently he was a deeply loving husband to Diana for 45 years, father to Jaryd and Kayla (Miles), grandpa to Bowen, brother to Lorraine and his wife’s countless siblings, son to Margaret and Bert (predeceased), and friend to everyone he met. In the days following his passing we received a tremendous outpouring of support from family, near and far, and friends, old and new. During a profoundly difficult time it has been a beautiful gift to remember what a wonderful man he was to all. We love you Daddio.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Gorge Vale Golf Club on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, George would have loved for any funds to be directed to the BC Cancer Foundation https://bccancerfoundation.com/

So very sorry to hear of George’s passing. We remember our first intro to George and Diane – a cruise from Rio to Barcelona with many from Di’s family. Amazing memory of George at the Barcelona soccer stadium, so happy!!!!! Another special memory – spending time with George, friends and family for Super Bowl parties! Rest in peace, George – we love ya!!
