It is with great sadness that we lay our friend Glen Yuen to
Rest after a long battle with leukemia. He is survived by his wife, Amy –
His parents, Ming and Jean Yuen and his brother Paul and nephew
Buddy. In lieu of flowers we are asking that donations be made to
Glen’s favorite charity Helping Homeless Cats in North Saanich.
To all of you who knew Glen you know how generous he was to everyone- both with
His time and friendship. He will be much missed- But we will see him soon. Glen’s
Celebration of Life will be held at The Ivy Room in The Fairmont Empress on Saturday, September 29th

janice oliver Sending much love.. it was an honor to have known him even tho we never met in person. I am so sorry for your loss, and the loss to the world of such a gentle, kind and thoughtful person. He will live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew him, but his presence will be sorely missed. <3
So sad to learn so late about Glen’s passing. We met while working together at the Princess Mary restaurant (early 90s) and always had a blast there or nights out after work. He was older than I and he taught me the ropes. Always loved the scrunched up face he’d put on whenever you said something nuts or that he didn’t like. We connected on and off over the years and Glen was part of my wedding party in the summer of 2004. I’m so happy to hear that he found Amy and got married as well. Take care buddy
