October 19, 1923-August 28, 2010
Died peacefully in Victoria on August 28, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Johnson. Forever remembering Jane with love are her son Richard (Judy), daughter Martha (Skip), and granddaughter Meagan. She also leaves her sister Carmen, and many nieces and nephews. Jane will be remembered as a loving person, who made friends easily, and never spoke an unkind word. No service at her request.

Rev. A. I. and Min Avery We shall miss our dear Janie.
We visited each other in our homes.
We had the Church & MONTREAL in Common.
Janie, as we called her, most affectionately, was
always so happy, smiling and positive. We Shall
miss her as will many in the Church. GOD BLESS
YOU as you mourn awhile but not for long as that
is not Janie’s way nor wish.

Hellie McLelland Jane was, indeed, a loving person; always willing to help others – a good neighbour and friend, with an enormous curiosity about the world around her.
I shall miss her laugh and think of her every time I go by places we visited together.
My sincere condolences to her family – she leaves a gap hard to fill.
She was truly one of “the old school” with high standards of honesty, service , wisdom and integrity.
Hellie
TO: Richard, Martha and Families.
We were very sorry to hear of Jane’s passing.
My wife Doris and I, and my family express our Sincere Condolences.
At a time like this our thoughts turn to the year 1957 when the Johnson family moved to Courtland Avenue in Dorval. Jane and I remained friends even with the passing of Douglas and Melda.
We will remember Jane and pray for your comfort in the days ahead.
