“Mother’s hold their children’s hands for a while, but their hearts Forever”
Our dear mother passed away peacefully in her own home surrounded by family on Friday, December 18, 2020. Predeceased by her loving husband John in 2015, she leaves to mourn her passing daughters Darlene Newburg, Susan Aldridge, Sonya Russell, their spouses, and her ever so loved grandchildren.
A very loving and devoted mother and wife who dedicated her life to her family, enjoying the many meals she prepared for us and a welcoming home to everyone. She will be truly missed but we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with our dad and brother Richard.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Dear Darlene,Susan, and Sonya, your mom was so important to my brothers and I growing up. We knew, no matter what, if our mom and dad weren’t around we just had to go over to Hazel for help. We were so lucky to have your family for friends.I have nothing but warm memories of Hazel and Johnny. Alistair Hood.

To my dear Grandma,
I will always hold with me the great memories you left us. The long days at the park playing tennis and baseball, the big family Christmas dinners, the homemade pierogis, and lastly the wood stove that will never stop burning.
Love you Grandma

I was deeply saddened to read of your mum’s passing.
I have fond memories of Hazel and your dad.
They were wonderful and supportive neighbours to my mum and dad when they lived on Rithet Street.
May she Rest In Peace.
