    Dennis and family,

Having recently lost my father, Ben Manning. I know the terrific emptiness with which you must be feeling.

I only met you a few times on Pender Island but knew you to be a lovely person. This can only be because of your wonderful Mom.

I am terribly sorry for your loss and I pray you too will soon be able to enjoy the sweet memories of her love for you and that will ease the pain.

    With Deepest Sympathy,
    Doug and Merville Hall

So sorry for your loss. Here in the east, we did not have a chance to know Helen well, but I remember her sparkling eyes as she related tales of childhood on the homestead–mostly escapades of her siblings. My father was astonished to learn what the seeds were that they all chewed to cope with the smell of retting hemp!

Sorry to hear of your mother’s death. She had a long life and we trust her passing was easy and painless. We have you in our minds and hearts in this your time of grief.
