    Hi Peter

We are thinking of you and Christine and Gwen today and are sorry we can’t be in Victoria.

We have many happy memories of family gatherings we shared over the years. When I branched out and decided to make Christmas puddings too, your mother gave me her family recipe which I now combine with Dad’s mother’s version for the best possible pudding ever! Barbara remembers that she made delicious clam chowder! I also remember the knitted mittens and other things she always sent us at Christmas time when we were children.

We are glad you can share your memories of your mother with Gwen and Christine and Pat!

Hope we can meet soon. Love from Barbara, Max , Lloyd and me.

    Florence

Peter – our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Please accept our deepest sympathy. We share your sorrow.

Your Mother was truly a “grand” lady. She will be missed.

Aunt Neenie was my aunt – but she was also my friend and I miss her dearly.

    Dear Peter –

We were saddened to read of the passing of your dear Mom. I worked at the Centennial Committee with your Dad, John – and have fond memories of both he and your Mom. I loved your Dad’s personality, who used to call me “Teense.” Your Mom, was always gracious, kind and forthright. We had many fun times at various social events with both your Mom and Dad.

Our thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

    Sincerely,
    Steve & Tina Smith

Hello, Jennie here, Mrs. Hall’s CHW with Beacon Community Health Care. Hi. I just would like to say that I am very sorry for your family’s loss. I feel very sad to hear the passing of dear Mrs. Hall. I worked with her for almost three years. I went to help her with her personal care every Tuesday and Saturday. I last heard of her illness when she first went into the hospital from Mary-Anne at Beacon.
I always feel very sad when my clients become ill and when they pass away. You develop a special type of relationship with certain people and they become a very important part of your life. It is such an honor to work with clients such as Mrs. Hall. She treated me so appreciatively, and with respect always, as I with her. I have missed going to her weekly visits and I miss her dearly. I would like to share my condolences with your family. I will be attending her service. The Lord really blessed my life with knowing Mrs. Hall. It was a lot of fun talking with her and we always had something special to share with each other. I miss her very very much. May the Lord bless you with comfort at this difficult time. Take care of each other.

    Yours very truly,

Jennie Paasche – Community Health Care Worker

My Mother, Marion Wadlin and I share many fond memories of visits and phone calls to Helena over the years. I recently spoke to her before her birthday and and sent a Mother’s Day card as I have done over the past 38 years.
We keep in our hearts forever the Memories of those we have loved.
Peter and Family, may it help in your time of sadness to know we are thinking of you and share your sorrow but also the joy of knowing such a great lady . She had a wonderful laugh and keen sense of humour. We always kept in touch over the years and I will miss the letters and chats.
    God Bless
    Sandi Zarins ( nee Wadlin-Hall)
