Peacefully, surrounded with love, honouring life, Helen Poulsen has been welcomed home into the arms of the Heavenly Father. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Evans and her daughter, Jeanette. She is survived by her sons, Peter, Allan and Brian.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at Luther Court, 1525 Cedar Hill Cross Road on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

Sonja Herndier (Paulsen) I do not know you boys but I always tried to see your mom when I was out in Victoria. Her and Aunt Agnes were both wonderful ladies and I was proud to be part of the family. I am so happy I spent an afternoon with your mom this past summer. I know she will be missed!

Aunt Helen often expressed to me her love and caring of her son’s Peter, Alan and Brian. She so much enjoyed your weekly visit’s and the wonderful drives to East Sooke with Alan.

I am so sorry that your Mom has passed away, but she is at peace and this is her wish. I really enjoyed my friendship with her, and she was a wonderful, kind, sincere and a very special lady. She was ALWAYS cheerful and grateful for everything in her life and very proud of “her boys”. I will miss her a lot.
