It is with heavy hearts that we announce Henry’s peaceful passing at home on November 3, 2016. He was born on February 15, 1941 in Kwangtung, China and immigrated to Canada in 1958 with his family. He was well known as a humorous and generous man who enjoyed his family and was an avid sports fan, car enthusiast and fish hobbyist. Henry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 50 years Karen, sons Theodore (Melina), Stephen (Judy), Eugene (Vivi) and daughter Denise (Mark); grandchildren Janelle, Alyssa, Miranda, Annalise, Troy, Vienna, Elaina and Evan. He will also be missed by his brother Arthur (Diane), sisters Daphne (Joe), Barbara (Norman), and by many other relatives and friends.
Henry’s memorial service will be held at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Dr on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 1 pm.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and friends who cared for Henry during his last months.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Society and Victoria Hospice.
